As a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, I have a special heart for our airmen, sailors, marines and soldiers that serve our country here in the United States of America and on foreign soil. Temple of Greater Works supports our heros and prays for them often. We don't take our freedom to worship the
only living God for granted.
As a matter of official record, Temple of Greater Works started
in base housing in 2000 at 210 Selfridge Avenue. We may be the only church in Louisiana that officially (according to the Louisiana Secretary of State) started on Barksdale Air Force Base.
Therefore, we whole-heartedly understand deployments, exercises, generations, mobility lines, 1206s, CDCs, EPRs and OPRs. We even understand you having to occassionally go home on the weekends to check on mom, dad, brothers and sisters.
The Lord has blessed us to have several military members and families call Greater Works home.
We extend a very special welcome to those who wear the uniform proudly.

God Bless You and Your Families
